GIVING TO ARF
ARF offers homeless animals the promise of a loving and full life by providing them shelter, medical care, and love until their permanent “forever” homes can be found. Your support will help ARF fulfill this promise to homeless dogs and cats.
Caring for the homeless animals at ARF requires lots of money, time, supplies and equipment. We occasionally post a wish list of items and we are always in need of cleaning supplies, cat liter, pet food & paper products.
One of the greatest gifts anyone can give is the gift of time. If you are interested in becoming an ARF volunteer, please come to the Adoption Center and pick up a Volunteer Handbook Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 1-4. We do not accept new volunteers on Saturdays. Volunteers must be 18 years old. We are no longer accepting volunteer applications online.
Groups wishing to volunteer must email and contact ARF two weeks before to schedule a time and date.
If you would like to make a monetary donation to ARF you can donate online through PayPal with the link below or you can use the link in the sidebar to do a direct transfer from your bank or via check. If this is a donation in honor of, or memory of, a pet or individual, please include pertinent information in the note section of the online donation.

Save your Cans, Save a Life
By saving your aluminum cans and bringing them to ARF, ARF is able to use the money earned from recycling the cans to save abused, neglected, homeless and unwanted animals. The can drop off location is in the front our parking lot and open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Simply bring your cans out in bags and toss them into our collection barrels – its that easy! Since this project began ARF has been able to raise thousands of dollars, and save countless lives. Save your cans, save the environment, and save a life!
The ARF Endowment
ARF has grown drastically over the last decade, and plans to continue growing in new ways. In the begining ARF was incredibly limited by space. At best, ARF could only safely house twenty to thirty animals at one time. Presently we are able to safely provide housing for over one hundred adoptable animals and another thirty permanent residents on any given day. But, along with increased adoptions and lives saved comes increased cost associated with running ARF. For ARF to achieve a balance between saving lives and financial stability, we must rely on the support of the community. Please consider making a gift to The ARF Endowment Fund through the Community Foundation of Muncie and Delaware County.
